It is that time of year again! JNE Welding is honoured to have been named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies alongside a list of outstanding Canadian businesses.
What does being named a Best Managed Company mean to JNE?
It’s one thing to become one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies once but getting there year after year takes repeated effort. Since first being named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies in 2015, JNE has used Best Managed to benchmark excellence and continue strategic growth. Shawn Wimpney, JNE’s Chief Financial Officer says, “The Best Managed program has set a bar for how our management team approaches challenges. We come at it from a questioning perspective where we seek to understand the current environment, so we continually become better year over year.”
As well, Adam Logue, JNE’s Chief Executive Officer highlights how Best Managed has become part of JNE’s culture.
“Striving to uphold our status as a Best Managed Company is not only about continuous improvement of our business practices but is also about attracting people who take tremendous pride in the company that they work for. Our people deserve to be part of a Best Managed Company.”– Adam Logue
This focus on continual growth and excellence makes JNE a great partner to work with. The discipline and strong processes that are required of JNE to achieve Best Managed status gives our customers and partners the confidence that JNE will follow through on our commitments to deliver. Grant Ring, Vice President of Supply Chain at SaskPower noted how this approach has benefited SaskPower.
“JNE has been a valued partner through the years. JNE demonstrates strong leadership and a passion for collaboration on our projects. SaskPower has benefited from the solutions they offer and the strength they bring to our projects.”– Grant Ring
Further, Doug Barker, President of Park Derochie Canada pointed out how shared values in customer service and recruiting have contributed to the strong working relationship between the two organizations.
“I think the two similarities between JNE and Park Derochie are that we care about our client and we both hire and retain quality people.”– Doug Barker
We thank Deloitte for hosting the Canada’s Best Managed program as it creates a framework that empowers Canadian businesses like JNE Welding to strive for continuous improvement and a standard of excellence that is second to none.
