Pressure Vessels
JNE Welding since its founding in 1980 has built extensive experience in the fabrication of pressure vessels. JNE Welding is an ISO 9001:2015 registered company. JNE Welding is also ASME Certified for Pressure Vessel design and fabrication (U-Stamp).
Pressure vessels are an important component in petroleum and petrochemical processing plants. The term pressure vessel could describe heat exchangers, storage tanks, reactors or separation tanks. As pressure vessel fabricators JNE Welding has experience designing, constructing and testing ASME pressure vessels.
Pressure Vessel Experience
JNE’s 77,000 square feet of fabrication shop space has allowed it to fabricate pressure vessels weighing 250 tons. These deaerator vessels were 22 feet in diameter and over 116 feet tall when erected.
We’ve built roughly 400 pressure vessels but one of our most memorable was a project in Northern Alberta pictured above. We fabricated four pressure vessels in about eight months totaling over 60,000-man hrs. There were a lot of unique challenges with this project with a very aggressive timeline. Even with scope increase we still delivered on time.
Pressure Vessel Materials
JNE has experience working in:
- Carbon steel
- stainless steel
- duplex stainless
- super duplex
- Inconel
- Monel
- and more.
Each alloy has ideal applications depending on the corrosive nature of the medium being processed or stored.
Pressure Vessel Types
JNE Welding’s experience with pressure vessels includes but is not limited to:
- high-pressure vessels for oil and gas
- filter vessels
- liquid petroleum gas (LPG) vessels
- alloy crystallizer vessel for the potash industry
- process vessels for the uranium industry
- water treatment vessels
