JNE Welding since its founding in 1980 has built extensive experience in the fabrication of pipe spools, piping, pipe anchors, pipe shoes, and tank cooler piping. JNE Welding is a ISO 9001:2015 registered company. JNE is certified to fabricate ASME piping to B31.1, B31.3, B31.5 & B31.9. JNE Welding is also certified by the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB Certified) for structural components.

Pipe Spooling & Skids Experience

JNE’s 77,000 square feet of fabrication shop space has allowed it to fabricate pipe skids and modular pipe racks 33 feet wide, over 100 feet long and weighing in excess of 180 tons. We have the capability fabricate wider or longer pipe skids if needed. Modules like these have provided tremendous value to our clients by significantly reducing their onsite labor costs.

One of our most memorable projects was a sizeable duplex stainless-steel piping project for a SAGD (Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage) heavy oil mining project in Northern Alberta. For this project:

• We developed highly specialized weld procedures just for this project.
• Every weld was LPI and RT tested as well as ferrite levels monitored.
• 100% of all piping was pickled and passivated as well to ensure zero contamination.
